Sometimes, you just have to wing it. When the occasion arises, try this recipe, which uses air frying instead of deep frying to achieve a deliciously crispy texture.
Combine the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and toss the chicken wings to coat.
Select POULTRY setting and adjust cook time to 25 minutes; then press START. Preheat the Air Fryer for 2 minutes.
Place the chicken wings in the Cooking Basket and cook for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer to thicken the sauce, about 2-3 minutes.
When 3 minutes are remaining on the Air Fryer time, temporarily remove chicken wings from Cooking Basket with tongs. Brush the sauce on each wing and then place back into the Air Fryer and cook for the remaining time.
